Mally Chakola has never been particularly interested in staying in one lane.

Attorney. Entrepreneur. Consultant. Educator. Speaker. Writer. Each chapter has offered a different vantage point on the same questions: Who are we when the familiar labels fall away? Where do we belong? What do we carry with us from one place, culture, or chapter of life into the next?

Her work has taken her from law and entrepreneurship to classrooms and boardrooms, and from the American South to South Asia and places around the world.

Along the way, she has developed an abiding interest in people, place, culture, identity, and the moments that ask us to reconsider what we thought we knew.

Today, Mally brings that perspective to her nonfiction, speaking, and consulting—different expressions of the same curiosity about how we make meaning, navigate change, and create lives that feel wholly our own.
